So in honour of this lovely day I am giving away the below bangle from the 50's with pretty pretty gold leafing. There are only a handfull left and they really are my favourites. one day, the perfect day arrived through the smoke and fog of joburg and it went like this:
the sun rose over the villa and the pretty girl put on her prettiest dress and went for a frolic amongst the olive trees. the morning quickly slipped past where she was reading on the sweet green grass close to the song of the trees.
lunch was a loungy affair with tappas and lots of red wine...the conversation was smooth and quirky and the company romantic and light.
the afternoon walk on the beach with her favourite white pitbull doggie was the perfect way to get back in touch with the ocean and the feel of the world.
sunset with sundowners and her lovely strong man (*cough..lloyd) on a beach deck overlooking the biggest part of santorini. the night greeted them with thousands of little lights glimmering over the city, the beautiful night progressed in a sweet dance into the full moon.
[ok that was the biggest cheese piece ive ever written, someone smack me ;) ]
