I honestly think that sometimes when i cuddle him all my negative energy goes into him and he just combusts it with his mighty cat powers! I got him from the SPCA when I was 12, I am now 25... jees, I think we both getting old!

My little baby, NiceFind.

So I know things have been super slow on my side but I am going to be taking my little blog to new heights soon soon. The reason for this being is that I have resigned from my cushy little job as an art director at an ad agency in Jozi, for a life run by me :) Next week is my last week! EEEEEk, i'm excited but scared! Anyone out there that also quit their job to follow their dreams? What got you through the fear and pushed you on, advice!? Please! :)

I have a few things in the pipeline which I hope to share with you all (which will include DAILY posts, and hopefully actually giving my little blog the chance it deserves!).

So, for now, here's a little give-away!

I have a group on facebook called NiceFind which is also my Etsy shops name :) Its a little space for people to share their nice finds be it fashion, food, blogging or something you just think is darn cool.

I tried making a little plant necklace for a friend and it was uber fun and quite successful! I'll also be making a tutorial shortly on how to make your own!

But if you just can't wait, here's the *giveaway*

NiceFind is giving away a rock rose necklace custom made especially for you, it comes with care instructions, a little dropper for watering and all you need to know to care for your treasure! All you have to do is share a photograph or story of one of your nicefinds. (regrets, only Jozi South Africa) *CLOSING DATE* *27th of April*

Just go to NiceFind to share :) and like, if you like of course!

LOVE: Live the language commercial: Paris

The typography is incredible and grading and cinematography are equally as impressive! They were done for a series of commercials, directed by Gustav Johansson for Education First: Live the Language. The videos were shot in Paris, London, Barcelona and Beijing and are incredible!

I've uploaded the Paris one simply because its my favourite and I have a slight obsession with macaroons at the moment!

Let me know what you think!
Oh, and click HERE to see the others!
Found on Trendland but they are on Youtube too.

Madethislovethis.

What a good idea!
And it's run by a girl named Indiana Adams, cool huh! another indianna!

This is what its all about
1. DIY is fun, but it’s a lot more fun in a group.
2. On the first and 15th of the month, a new project will go live. Each project will remain live for 30 days, after which it will be archived.
3. In the 30 days while the project is live, you are invited to complete it and submit a snapshot of you wearing your new creation for consideration for the showcase.
4. Of those chosen for the showcase, one will be chosen as the winner at the project’s close!

And she's literally JUST JUST started it!

Hmmm... idea's idea's! I think i'm def going to give a craft project a bash!

Watch this space!

Or give it a bash yourself HERE.

Lovely idea!
Let me know if any of you are going to do it, or even want to do a colab! Now that my world is opening up again I am so keen to start doing amazing things!

Taking the leap.

Why hello!

So I know I've been quiet, i've just been so busy at work it's just been IMPOSSIBLE to upload any new posts. I know one is supposed to make time but it's been so difficult!

SO here's the solution I came up with. I resigned! So goodbye hustle and bustle of the ad world (although i am quite sad), hello amazing projects, freelance and caramel pancakes with my lolli love (which i am super happy about!).

I have many things happening in the pipeline and if you dont mind i will be sharing my journey with you all.

It's quite a huge leap i am taking and i have decided to follow my dreams, no more security of the month end paycheck and convenient health insurance. So i'll be posting my travels, hardships and moments of happiness and all the obstacles i face.

So i FINALLY opened up NiceFind on Etsy (shew its a start), and still trying to feel my way around!

Check it out HERE!

Please let me know if you have any comments, dont like the header? Think the prices are too high? Shipping fee's just ridiculous? I'm tough! I can take it!

OH... and the shipping is free for south africa ;) YAY!

I've already been mentioned on AngiVintage! Thank you Thank you!

AngiVintage is also on Etsy! Check it out here! She has such lovely clothes, I just want everything... but i suppose i need to be saving pennies considering :)

She also does AWESOME treasuries and I was lucky enough to feature in her latest, showcasing my vintage Kodak negatives, here's what it's all about!

"From the urban hustle and bustle to the rustic calm of the country, these etsy stores are waiting for their first sale."

Thank you Sam so much for all the mentions and your guidance so far! I see beautiful collaborations in the future!

Ok, so here we go!

LOVE!
